Our Story

Internship on Demand was launched in 2022 to make internships and post-graduation employment more transparent, more accessible, and more successful for students everywhere. Through firsthand experience, our co-founders saw the barriers that limited professional experience, and knew there had to be a better way.


We started as a small team with a mission to simplify the career search process. By analyzing our own experiences and talking with hundreds of college students, employers, and career service professionals, our team came up with the hypothesis that "test-driving" a career would reinvent the transition from education to career.


Pre-Internships provide students with a risk-free, low-barrier opportunity to learn about a real career, a real company, and the culture within that organization by meeting with employees and exploring the work they would do as an intern or entry-level hire. For the millions of job titles labeled 'engineer,' 'marketer,' or 'analyst,' each role is completely unique to the industry and the company offering it. Pre-Internships eliminate ambiguity from the application process altogether.
